With the rising popularity of powerful Internet search engines, many of us have turned to these search sites to do our research on products, news, entertainment and many more. There are many people out there who have also published stuff on the Internet on all sorts of things from money-making schemes to hot gossips about celebrities to exercise regimes. Plenty of bloggers are also around to voice their opinions online. The matter is how accurate are these articles and to what extent should we believe in them? People are just so willing to share information, expertise and experience over the Internet because they have never been able to do so previously.
Very often, we hang around in online forums to interact with other people to discuss issues, news and the latest happenings(gossips too:P) around us. Do you realise that what we read in forums is normally a blown-up version of whatever that has happened? How many people are there in the forums? 1000 ? 2000? They are not representative of the world you know? You don’t own the world just because you can say almost anything you want. Neither does anyone owe you anything. You see all sorts of “identities” through their posts and they feel that they have a right to post whatever they like. Be responsible for what you write and don’t believe all that has been posted on the Web. There are loads and loads of crap and trolls who post rubbish out there. Be wise and learn to sift out the information you need. I do multiple searches on a particular info I need. So why am I writing this post? Cos I find that there is a severe lack of netiquette nowadays and many are ignorant of the perils of the Internet.

I made 3 trips in total to the sale but I returned from the last one empty-handed cos nothing more worth buying.
Here’s my damage list:
1. Helena Rubinstein Foundation at $25
2. Lancome cooling gel at $18
3. 2 pairs of shoes at $33 each
4. 2 boxes of Kinderfriends at $10
5. A bolster at $16
The shoes aren’t exactly cheap but they were comfortable(at that point when trying!). I will know after wearing them next time! There were many designs which I was attracted to and hence the title of this post. But many pairs were too high and would have caused problems like backache for me. I like the black pair cos it has a rubber slip at the heel instead and feels very comfortable.
As for the foundation, I wanted to get Shu Umera’s instead of this actually but all the colours were sold out except for the deep shades. They were really quite cheap, going off at nearly half the price of what I normally bought. Really regretted not going to the sale on it’s first day but then again, it was probably a blessing in disguise too cos the damage would be more than this definitely. Helena was going off at $25 so I decided to get that instead.
The Lancome eyecream is pretty! It’s a light green cooling gel that can be used as a eye shadow too! A green ribbon and “spiked circle” dangle at the end of the tube.
As for the Kinderfriends, it was a yummy treat. They have a variety of the kinder bueno chocolates in each box so you don’t get bored of eating the chocolates.
The bolster isn’t shown here. My old one was a bit nua so I decided to get a new one. No “flesh” to hug.
There were many watches on sale too! Esprit, Puma and some other brands were having a “buy 1 get 1 free” promotion but I didn’t feel like splurging over a hundred bucks on these brands for each watch after dividing the cost so I stopped myself from buying. Didn’t stop myself from clamouring around the counters with all the people to look at them though. So auntie…hahaha…
