This is a nice snack and pretty healthy snack!! They are actually the edamame peas that we normally eat in the Jpa restaurants. In the past I never dared to touch this green thingy until a friend encouragesd me to try it and I totally got hooked on it! I had always thought it was to be consumed as a whole like the snow peas and only upon trying did I realised that only the peas are eaten. This snack has never fail to be on my table in Jap restaurant ever since.
I happened to chance upon a bag of it in the local supermarket and I bought it to cook at home. Looks like a had overcooked it a bit..haha but I didn’t want to risk the chance of biting on it raw though it seemed that they were already cooked before frozen. Nevertheless, the packaging stated that it was cholestrol- free but it was slightly salty without any seasoning so do hold back a bit if you’ve got that high blood pressure t be on the safe side. Anyway I finished eating the whole plate above cos no one else seems to be able to appreciate it in the family…haha..On top of that, I had 1 plate of rice with fish, egg and veges, 1 slice of fried tapioca and green bean each for dinner. Not forgetting i ate a small kinder bueno sweet after that. Sounds like a lot hor.. and I promptly went to sleep after that. Shucks… no wonder the scale value is higher nowadays.
