Gone in a flash

Time seemed to travelling in a super sonic mode these 2 weeks.  Just yesterday I was think how come it was Friday already?  Is this a good sign? It doesn’t matter cos I’m enjoying what I’m doing now and I hope to move upself up a notch when it comes to work.  

T3 has officially opened yesterday too.  It seemed like just barely a few months ago that I was working at the T3 Open House in Nov last year.  The friends I made, the experience I had and the many valuable things that I learnt from everyone I met there.  I can only express my heartfelt thanks to them.  They probably would not know that they have played a major role in changing a lost girl’s life within that period.  A change that I am unable to fathom myself too.  It was there that I realise the importance of learning and improving no matter how old you are, the limits of urself and giving the best you can.

It’s great to have friends who care

On a bag hunt

I’ve been on a hunt for a good and nice working bag for the last 2 weeks but each time I return home, my shopping bags carried other stuff instead.  I just can’t find a bag that I like. *HEADACHE* What do I look for in a bag?  Very simple mah…

1. I can sling my forearm through the strap.

2. Stylish looking and suits me.

3. Has a fixed shape.

4. Doesn’t look auntish on me.

5. Can last me for a year.

I’ve been to Charles and Keith plus many other shops and each time I walk out of the store disappointed.  Maybe I need to aim higher? C and K actually has some nice bags but they’re not what I’m looking for.  Am I too fussy?.. Maybe lor….

The hunt shall continue at Tangs tomorrow….

Fashion Victims

While I admit I’m not a great dresser myself and I bungle at coordinating my shoes and clothes sometimes, there seems to be many more fashion victims nowadays.  I’ve seen girls wearing leggings with mini skirts which actually made their thighs look bigger.  Some even wore the lacy kind.. I admire their courage to wear that on the streets though… Even guys fall prey to fashion now.  The worse I’ve seen are 3 teenagers wearing low waist tapered black jeans with converse shoes and T-shirts TOGETHER.  It not only made their legs shorter but it made them look fat too..I dunno why.  They were on the fleshy side to begin with but both were about my height which is actually quite acceptable for guys…. I couldn’t bear to take a second look at them.  Their jeans were so “lau lau” and ugly!!!!OMG…. Personally I think it’s better to dress with your own style for your body shape than try to be hip and catch up with fashion.  Know your own body shape and wear clothes accordingly lah…..
